This VidaPower cable has been field tested to pass 60W (or more) of USB-C charging power, a reliable connection to your peripherals, along with full Gigabit Ethernet data - all with zero packet loss.
Requires USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 (USB-C 3.0) or better connected cable
To provide full power and data passthrough, be sure to connect a USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 (USB-C 3.0) or better cable between its female port to your USB-C device. Failure to do so would result in NO charging power, unreliable peripheral connections, or Ethernet packet loss.
As a guide: Apple & Microsoft OEM cables with plastic, PVC jackets do NOT meet this standard (Only USB 2.0) & won't supply charging power, while Apple braided cables, Samsung, and Lenovo OEM cables do meet USB-C 3.0 spec will be compatible.
