Quiet, low-noise performance
LUX features an advanced cooling design that goes beyond just installing a quiet fan. Driven by twin 80mm fans in the rear of the LUX, a series of intakes on the bottom of the front face plate draws in cool air, and feeds it directly into the hard drive chamber, and then cools the silently cooled graphics processor w. passive heatsinks.
At the same time, temperature sensitive fans auto-modulate their speed while cooling the processor and power supply, providing quiet performance. LUX provides a good value solution for massive storage and quiet, in-room performance. |
