Default Squeezebox Music CoverArt

I'm having trouble getting the Cover Art from the Squeezebox for the music that is currently playing. I get cover art in the "Cover Art Browser" but not when using "CurColCookie." What I could I be doing wrong?

Hi Juan,

I need a little more detail from you. Just to verify. You should be using a Media Image widget and then selecting the relavent "CurColCookie". The other thing that you have to double check is that the squeezebox driver is referencing the correct media repository.

Sergio,

Yes. I am using a media image widget and I've set it to "CurColCookie" under the Squeezebox driver. I checked the Active Repository and it is set to the same one I'm using for the CoverArt Browser: "CQCMusicRepo1". Also, the other data works fine, such as, "CurColArtist" & "CurColName." Under CurColCookie, using the Field Browser, I have the following: 1, FFFF, 1, 11. Not sure what I should do. I've tried reinstalling the driver several times but I still just get an All-Black widget. Any ideas???

Did you check the onload or onpreload vents for the template to make sure that you aren't dynamicly changing the media image field to something that is not valid? Also, did you try creating a simple test template with only one image widget hard linked to the "CurColCookie" field to see if it works? This sounds like the field reference gets changed to something that is not valid. Also, check the logs to see if there is some sort error when you open the temaplte that has the media image widget.

Well I created a blank template with only the CurColCookie widget on it and I still don't get anything. I also found nothing in the logs.

Something doesn't sound right. Are you sure you are using "Media Image"? You might be using "Media Repo Image" which will not work. Only "Media Image" will work with audio players like the squeezebox. Other than that, I'm not sure what's wrong. I'm sure it's something silly. I can remotely work with you on Monday to try to find the issue.
