Newly CEDIA approved VidaBox Trainings Provide
AV Integrators with Hands-On Experience for
Automation, Control, & Entertainment Solutions

Garden City Park, NY – November 6th – VidaBox, LLC, a leading manufacturer of media centers, audio servers, and customizable touchscreen controls, is excited to announce the approval of its training courses by the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) for inclusion in the CEDIA CEU Provider program. VidaBox currently offers three training courses for the sale, installation, and programming of its products. The combination of these courses runs over five days, and offer a grand total of 11.75 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

"We are proud to have CEDIA recognize our training courses,” says Steven Cheung, President of VidaBox, LLC. “Technology changes at such as rapid pace, so it can be difficult for dealers and integrators to keep up with it all. By attending our trainings, dealers can help ensure the continued success of their business by learning about and offering their customers cutting edge, yet cost-effective, solutions using automated controls and digital media delivery systems.”

There are currently three VidaBox training courses. VidaBox Sales Training (CEUP443) is a lecture-style, full day course covering the sale and installation of VidaBox products. vAutomation Level I & II trainings (CEUP444 & 445) provide hands-on programming experience. Currently, all training is offered only at their Garden City Park, NY headquarters. However, three new VidaBox training locations are planned to be opening by 2012 – one on the west coast of the US, one in Europe, and one in Asia.

“The CEDIA CEU Provider program is a tool used to ensure that CEDIA Certified individuals increase their industry and/or technical knowledge base. We are continually adding training providers to our list to make CEDIA CEUs more accessible to CEDIA Certified Professionals” states Paul Eisenhauer, CEDIA Certification Council Chair.
