Default How-to: Enable Overscan Compensation on Intel Video-Based Media Centers & Extenders

1) Close out of Media Center, and right-click on the desktop anywhere (where there are no icons), then choose GRAPHIC PROPERTIES.

2) A pop-up will appear. Choose "Custom Resolutions."

3) Click YES when the warning appears.

4) For 1080p (1920 x 1080), enter in the settings and numbers as shown:
Width = 1920
Height = 1080
Refresh rate = 60
Color Depth = 32 Bit
Interlaced = Yes
Underscan Percentage = 1

Then, click on ADD, then hit APPLY or OK.

For different resolutions, substitute the following values:
1080i
Width = 1366 or 1360
Height = 768

720p
Width = 1280
Height = 720

===

Once the above is complete, the oddball, 1-pixel thin artifacts are now cut off and removed from view on your TV.
