Question Can you record QAM and NTSC cable feeds at the same time?

Q: With a dual tuner setup, can you record QAM and NTSC cable feeds at the same time?

A: Yes - as long as the recorded TV sources are separate types (digital vs. analog), you will be able to record different sources. Here is a list of other possible combinations:

Valid Analog source + Digital Source Combinations
Cable from STB + Over-the-air HD
Satellite from STB + Over-the-air HD
FIOS from STB + Over-the-air HD
Cable from STB + Unencrypted QAM (from cable)
Satellite from STB + Unencrypted QAM (from cable)
FIOS from STB + Unencrypted QAM (from cable)
Cable from STB + CableCARD
Satellite from STB + CableCARD
FIOS from STB + CableCARD

* - STB = set-top box sources, via coaxial, composite, or S-Video
