For example, VidaBox Media Centers
systems are powered by WIndows Media Center, but unlike standard media centers supporting MCX extender technologies (XBox360®, etc.), we have created our own line of Extenders to provide support for popular features like multi-room Blu-ray and DVD streaming complete with the original menus, subtitles, extras, and more - as if viewer had the original disc. | How is VidaBox's customer support? |
|
Because dealers purchase directly from VidaBox, you'll also get support directly from VidaBox. Your VidaBox sales representative acts as your single point of contact through the entire project - from the beginning sale to the end installation.
Every VidaBox representative is fully versed and knowledgeable in the latest in AV technology, above and beyond what is in our VidaBox systems. Thus, if any issues do arise, we can quickly troubleshoot what the issue is (which many times, lie outside of our systems).

Can I design my complete
system and purchase items as
I grow my setup?
VidaBox systems are specifically designed to be modular, allowing you to start off with a single media center or audio server, and be able to "grow" the system by adding in more components later.
For example, you can get a RackServer media server with a single extender, and then add in more extenders weeks or months down the line for other TVs in your home. Whenever you're ready, you can also upgrade the RackServer and provide multiroom audio capabilities. Conversely, one can start with a multiroom audio server, and then add in a full-fledged media server later on without issue.

Can I use VidaBox™ servers
w. non-VidaBox™ extenders?
VidaBox manufactures our own line of uniqye media extenders to allow extension of DVDs, Blu-ray, and other content. Using non-VidaBox extenders will not allow you to stream those types of content, and is not recommended for use with VidaBox servers.

Can I use VidaBox™ extenders

While VidaBox media extenders are engineered for optimal performance with VidaBox media servers, they can be also be configured to work with non-VidaBox hardware. However, performance is not guaranteed, as the total end user experience is a result of the combination of hardware in the entire ecosystem.
