Why use Dr. HDMI?

Dr. HDMI helps resolve most HDMI video issues caused by faulty EDID handshakes or other incompatibility issues. It's used to keep a source device "always on" by tricking / feeding back to it the same, stable EDID signal, and is particularly useful for systems integrators. Are you experiencing resolving video loss / video return delays when a TV displays is turned on/off, or when an AV receiver or matrix switcher's inputs/outputs are changed? Dr. HDMI is the answer!

Dr. HDMI - Feature Highlights

Locks and presents a fixed EDID to a connected video source
By presenting a fixed, never-changing EDID to a video source, video output is always present. Say goodbye to common video loss issues, and lengthy delays for the video signal to come back
Preloaded with (5) EDID defaults for fast setup
Use one of the 5 preloaded EDIDs (1080p 3D, 1080p 2D, 1080i, 720p, 480/576p), and you'll be ready to go in seconds! Most setups can use the standard defaults without any issue.
1-Click EDID learning - no silly power plugs to connect or need to use dip-switches!
Can't use one of the defaults, or prefer to load in the actual setup's EDID? No problem - just set the unit to EDID Bank #8, press the "Learn" button once - and you'll be set in seconds!
Fully HDMI 1.4a and HDCP compliant
Dr. HDMI is fully HDMI 1.4a compliant, allowing full compatibility with the latest in HD AV technologies. HDCP compliance guarantees signal integrity. (Note: Device DOES NOT resolve non-HDCP compliance - it is NOT an HDCP stripper!)

Dr. HDMI is compatible with all of the latest HD resolutions, and will not degrade the incoming HDMI digital signal. Enjoy full HD video, complete with HD surround sound - the way it was meant to be seen & heard!
